CUBAN MEDICAL PERSONNEL TAKE PART IN VACCINATION CAMPAIGN IN HAITI

Port Au Prince, November 9(RHC)-- Cuban medical personnel in Haiti will
participate in a vaccination campaign in that Caribbean nation beginning
November 15th.

The head of the 4th Cuban medical brigade in Haiti, Jose Luis Manso, said
that one million 500,000 Haitian children between the age of nine months and
5 years will be vaccinated against measles and polio.

The vaccination campaign will end next December 17th and is sponsored by the
Pan American Health Organization, as well as the governments of Haiti and
Cuba.
