#4072: Exchange rate and safety
From:Jepiem@aol.com
What you are saying is right on paper. However where do you go exchange your
money? Loosing your life over a few gourdes isn't really worth it. Get it at
the obtainable rate at the safest place, that is where there is the least
likelyhood of being followed by a zinglindo or a "chime" ( chimais?) who
could be tipped by the very teller who exchanged your money. May sound
paranoid, but anything goes in Haiti nowadays.
