A NEW FILM ON HAITI SEEKS PRODUCTION PERSONNEL

We'd like to talk to members of this list about a new documentary film on
Vodou, revolt and revolution in Haiti that is in preproduction. The Los
Angeles-based company is offering employment for various positions,
including researchers, translators, guides in Haiti, scholars and
photographers. We need access to artists and their paintings, musicians,
poets, novelists and filmmakers. Stories in the film are told from a Haitian
point-of-view. Tell us your story. What is Haiti? Who is Haitian? What is
revolution? What is Vodou? What is your opinion on revolutions in the past?
How do they relate to the circumstances of today? Can you draw contemporary
parallels to the 1791 uprising to events of today?

Anyone interested in this project is encouraged to contact producer Robbie
Mescudi for further information.
