9530: Association de genealogie d'Haiti - database update (fwd)

The database of the Archives Nationales d'Haiti located on the Association
de genealogie d'Haiti Web site www.agh.qc.ca  was updated on ,november 9,
2001. Data for Jacmel  (1820) and Cap-Haiten (1827 and 1828) have been
added, representing approximately 3,000 names.

In its actual state, the database contains 24,494  acts and 118,512 names
from 1797 to 1828. The communes included are Cap-Haitien, Coteaux,
Dame-Marie (Dalmarie), Grand Goave, Jacmel, Leogane, Petit-Goave, Petit Trou
Des Baraderes and Port-Au-Prince. You can see the years covered  for each
commune in the inventory page at  http://www.agh.qc.ca/inventaire.htm

As usual, only AGH members have access to the acts. Others can only view the
indexes To facilitate your search for the new additions, you can select the
choice "date de mise a jour" = "9 novembre 2001" at the line before last of
