12826: questions about Aristide (fwd)

From: Kimberly De Wind <miss_dewind@hotmail.com>

My question is if Aristide was once a priest { whose basic job is to help
the needy and poor } then why is it so hard for him to live a basic life
(maybe he does i don't know) but it certainly doesnt seem that way to a few
curious bystanders. What he owns at present is a gigantic leap from a meagre
wage as a catholic priest who by right earns his money through charity
giving in his church and perhaps private donations of wealthy individuals.
Yes i do agree that the possibility of attaining these paintings may be the
result of gifts but in comparison to the financial question lingering over
his 'festively plump' bank account...the paintings may seem like delicate
peas in terms of size matters...

He must face the fact that his government is going through a crisis and
because time stalling seems to be the major solution for him at the moment
its not doing much good at all. Only aristide will know where he is getting
all his 'jackpot' fundings from...i can only hope that as a president of a
nation he will always put his country and his people before his own welfare.
Without full nation support it is inevitable that another titanic sinking is
around the corner...

Politicians are a bunch of pigs to me. (sorry!!! but where i come from its
70% lies, 20% potential lies and 10% (im being generous here) more lies) *im
thinking of migrating to haiti as a result of this* Everywhere in the world
today you will come across those in authority who will use this power to the
betterment of their own welfare with endless promises and pledges to people
who most of the time are not bothered with the fine prints of these
politicians true agenda's.

At the rate all this is moving...looks like this 19year old will be having
grey hairs by the time something is done.
