Haiti-which is set to receive $67 million in grants from the Global Fund to
Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria-is the first developing nation where
antiretroviral drugs will be somewhat widely distributed.

The Global Fund money will help provide these drugs to HIV/AIDS patients,
with most of the funds being used to open 25 new testing and counseling
centers throughout the country.
