Katherine Dunham will be giving a public lecture in Chicago on Friday June
6. There will also be a small conference that afternoon honoring her work.
The details are below.

Anthropologist, Artist, Activist

Katherine Dunham will be returning to the University of Chicago to deliver a
public lecture on her current efforts to convert a 50-acre ³urban forest² in
the middle of Haiti¹s capital city into a botanical garden. Ms. Dunham will
speak about this project, the forest, and her life-long relationship with
the people and spirits of Haiti. Please join us for this special event!
