Marassa want to know why Farmer no get the Taiwanese gov't to pay for clinic
in Cange?
He spend so much time and energy defending Lavalas and berating racists in
U.S. for inaction that he forget he could fly to Taiwan and come back with
juicy cheque for millions of free dollars.

Of course he will have to "reciprocate" with Taiwan minister who give him
money, but in Haiti there is zero tolerance accountability for money
collected, so even with the kickback he still be very much ahead and his
clinique survive.

In fact, he could even include a new chapter in the revised edition of his
book, The Uses of Haiti. He title it "Taiwan's Swiss Bankers in the
Caribbean". He could explain why Taiwan so eager to give lots of money to
Haiti politicians. He would find out that Taiwanese really, really, really
like to throw money at Lavalas because it is very good business, personally
and profitably so.
