since Lavalas took control of Haiti. Regardless of the actions or inactions

whatever steps necessary to better the lives of his or her people. Yes, this
includes compromise, controlling your ego, sharing power, falling on your

Edouard, what you said up there is impossible in every way. I know, if you
are honest with yourself, you will admit that no Haitian you can think of would
be able to pass muster using those standards of leadership. Haiti's crisis
belongs to all Haitians but ESPECIALLY those with the means and education to
know better. Those 10 years are yours to explain as well as Aristide's. I
think the whole thing is shameful. Talk about your egos! The opposition's are
out of control...I think you know this too. More has to change besides
Aristide, much more. Corruption is a way of life and has been forever. So how do
you tell a group of people who have power of office, "Corruption stops with
you....no more!"? How do you do this in one generation? Face it, you don't know
anyone who could have pulled this off gracefully. Aristide is just your easy
target. Let him finish his term unmolested (I say to the opposition and to US
meddlers). Show your own maturity and healthy egos.....make your stand in
the next election, if you dare!
