I have just had the pleasure of organising a week long Memory tour in
Haiti for
the Haitian Institute in Washington and they have a wonderful Haitian
Recipe
book of which they kindly gave me a copy – called The Art and Soul
of

personal contact there. It has some beautiful reproductions of Haitian art
connected with food as well and Haitian proverbs.
