More disturbing to me than posts to this list of partisan Duvalierists and
IRI foot soldiers was the recent post of Daniel Simidor (a Haitian nationalist),
in response to Jafrikayiti (Jean St-Vil; another Haitian nationalist), after
Jaf dared to try to deflect some recent rhetoric directed against Paul Farmer,
a "blan" who has dared to do less harm than good in Haiti.

Washington, D.C. has indeed succeeded when Haitian nationalists focus upon
ripping each other apart!

What hope does Haiti have in the face of such "virtual / online" fratricide
of expatriot Haitian nationalists, at the same time as the remaining Haitian
nationalists on the ground in Haiti are also being destroyed as we speak???

Happy 2004, Mother Haiti!
