18577: Pierre Jean: Re: 18565: Esser: Re: 18548: Simidor's last reply to Esser (fwd)

Esser is right on KOZEPEP. They were closely aligned
to René Préval, not so much to Lavalas. After 2001,
they were persecuted and basically had to disband
because they were seen as a threat. Much like what
happened to MPP.
Esser and Simidor have it partly right on Haiti
Progres (so they are both wrong as well.) Ben Dupuy
and Aristide are like quarrelsome lovers. They have
intense periods of struggle followed by very sexy
kiss-and-make-up sessions.
While Aristide was in exile, Dupuy got really pissed
off for having been passed over for some position, I
believe, and became his enemy. (If I recall correctly,
Robert Malval wrote something about that in his book
"L'Année de Toutes les Duperies".) Haiti-Progres'
articles against Aristide were extremely violent at
that time. But since 2002, Dupuy is back firmly in
Aristide's camp. Just read the latest news from
Haiti-Progres to see what I mean.
Esser - Make sure to get the latest stuff from HP.
Some of the articles you use to prove your point are
old and conditions have changed.
