It his very telling that many people that were calling the thugs in
the north of Haiti 'rebels', now seem to have second thoughts. Well
you can't put the genie back in the bottle. The same NCHR that would
have had us believe only weeks ago that all problems stemmed form
Aristide, now seems to have discovered a different gospel. The next
time we all ought to pay more attention to people more capable of
analyzing political events before they are allowed to turn into
catastrophes. Discovering now that the "rebels" and large parts of
the opposition are unsavory characters is too little and too late, it
is strange politics to say the least to first condone violence by not
speaking out against it, and then wishing it would go away...
