For the National Women's History Month, the Multilingual Center of the
Brooklyn Public Library presents / Pour le mois de l'histoire des
femmes, le Centre Multilingue de la bibliothèque publique de Brooklyn
présente...

Award-winning poet Danielle Legros Georges will read from her anthology,
"Maroon". /  La poète Danielle Legros Geoges à qui on a décerné
plusieurs prix littéraires, lira de son anthologie "Maroon".

Born in Haiti and raised in the U.S., her poetry explores her Haitian
and American heritage and experiences. / Née en Haïti et élevée aux
États-Unis, la poésie de Danielle Legros Georges explore ses racines et
expériences haïtiennes et américaines.

Her works have appeared in "The American Poetry Review." /  Ses oevres
ont été publiées dans "The American Poetry Review."

Georges has received many awards, including a MacDowell Fellowship, the
Fannie Lou Hamer Award and a grant by the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund
for poetry. /  Une bourse MacDowell, le Prix Fannie Lou Hamer et une
subvention de poésie du fonds commémoratif Barbara Deming sont parmi les
prix reçus par Danielle Legros Georges.
