"Stop the Black extermination campaign in Haiti"

Are we supposed to believe people are dying in Haiti because of Bush?
Please let this to Americans citizens knowing of Haiti only through Mr
Kurzban and other Aristide spin-doctors...
Have we to believe that for at least 24 months, Bush and the Haitian
opposition were in control of Haitian prisons and therefore responsible for
elimination of probably several hundreds of people?

How comes when someone is killed by Lavalas, without being accused, nor put
on trial, nor sentenced, it is of no value?
How comes the poor, unknown Haitian citizens, often without even an national
ID are ignored by those speaking in their name? This hypocritical attitude
is awfull.
Many Haitian asked for Mr Aristide stepping down precisely in order Black
extermination stopped in Haiti... Their extermination, not a concept... but
their real death... death they saw when masked balck clothed gunmen pass
with people no one will meet agin axcept pigs and dogs... In Haiti, those
questions are not rhetoric and business question for lobbyist... this
question smells and stinks and attracts flies!

Mothers being mad when a son or a daughter was still not back home after
5PM...
Was he arested and beaten or worse by the police?
Is she being raped and to be found dead later?

Wife crying because husband disappeared longer than for ordinary adulterine
hanging out... And never to be foud again...
Could you say the poor woman her husband was in Delmas 33?
Is he the guy I saw in this police station, bloody face, standing like on a
cross face against the wall while the Commissaire has a friendly chat and
the TV is watched by some friends, and, next room, in the dirty and smelly
cell, a new prisonner is beatten by regular inmates with electrical wire
after the police had stolen from him what they were interested in? And you
are there to save one person, and if you want to succeed in getting this one
out, you have to pretend you don't see, you don't hear and everything is
perfectly normal...

NCHR has serious reports in this matter, and notwithstanding the political
quality of the victims for a man is a man is a man... a woman is a woman is
a woman...
But as serious as NCHR might be, it cannot be aware of all the human right
violations perpetrated those last years...
When a young friend was arrested and detained for weeks in a Port-au-Prince
area commissariat with no trial... when his body was later found dead in
Jacmel a few weeks later (he never was freed, and never escaped)... Was it
possible to push the crying mother and the resigned father to go and
complain and fill a file... In order to have some attaches or thugs storming
their poor house and having them dead, their second son killed and their so
cute and nice 16 yo daughter raped?

No... Alas, for the poor, silence and resignation is the only solution...
Americans citizens have the chance to live in a country where it is possible
to hope justice will triumph... not easily, not as easily for Black American
citizens as for the white ones... But their is hope that, some day, even a
cynical racist judgement will be undone and at least recognized as unfair...
It is a mistake to believe it is or was so in Haiti...
What will you do when you have not a gourd left to eat, but having a judge
coming cost you 2500 gourds, and having the police coming to visit you if
you are threatened will cost you another 2000 gourdes plus some gazoline for
their car and a 550 gourds phone card?
And, actually, what will you do when, beeing poor and defenceless, you can
be sure that, even if you are the victim, the police will beat you and jail
you?
Here we are, it is here deep in minds and blood, and Lavalas officials,
wether they speak Democracy or not were and are still very good at acting
like is the poor and the powerless are wrong, by nature.

Black extermination, yes it does exist in Haiti, but first responsible for
it are not, or not mainly those outlined by this call.
Some activists speaking for Aristide in the States are perhaps pure and not
paid to do so... but then, they are blind and deaf, and probably suffer from
a white / occidental supremacy complex: seeing everything through their own
culture and experience...
So, let them come here in the streets, live with the poor, suffer with them,
and after, they will sing another song...

Please remember, Metres Ezili,
one being ugly doesn't make his enemy nice...
Bush not caring about Haiti is not the proof an anti-Bush will care...

Do we not see right now, once again, Haiti being used by both Reps and Dems
as a mere ball in the election cup...
It is the ball that is shot at... But fool is the one who believe one team
or another cares for the ball... they care for the victory!
And next game they will take another ball...
