There you guys go again ..putting yourselves down. Yeah..you are right...Haiti had and has nothing going for it. Every time there is a positive comment made about Haiti through history.....people only see the negative part of it. If one really wants Haiti to prosper..it has to start with one's attitude. If one feels sorry and negative about Haiti's past...then Haiti will never prosper. One needs to look at what can be done for the future of Haiti and see the good in it. When the people of Haiti start to change their outlooks on Haiti (in the past and future) and start taking responsibility for their mistakes..and stop blaming the americans, french, and anybody else for that matter. Then their will be people that have the heart to lead a democracy in Haiti and be elected to office. There are people there now that have ideas and positive attributes to strive for the good of Haiti, but because of corruption from the top of the governement to the bottom of society....the!
se people
are overlooked. Haiti was a "Pearl" and still is. Pearl does not mean wealth all of the time. It also means beauty. Haiti does not have the wealth of other nations but its strengths are other coutnries' weaknesses.
