21300: Marassa re Darker side of enlightenment's ownership (fwd)
From: DeSprit Marassa <lwasauvaj@hotmail.com>
Marassa reading questions by Holmstead. no green soap today so we seriously
grimace faced:
holmstead ask:
"What do people you ask say about T-Max and the coverage two months before
Feb. 29th? Was anonymous just throwing us a line? Or is the question of
ownership the only one that needs answering? I don't know, enlighten us."
Marassa want Holmstead for to be knowing that Marassa never one time ask
questions about quality of Telemax coverage. WE only ever asking why they no
burned and who owning them now. it Is "anonymous" who is deciding to talk
about "Gifted" "talented" and "unbiased" amerikan born telemax manager, no
Marassa. For "anonymous" to go into great details about new telemax manager
and his "groundbreaking unbiased coverage" is very revealing and obvious for
Corbettlist members. though it is making us want to be getting drunks on
rhum punch and pina coladas.
Marassa is agreeing with pro-Lavalas positioins who always naming
ownerships of T.V. and radyo stations. but they always making direct or
implicit connection between media ownership and bias against Lavalas, Titid,
and Haitian peoples.(nasty evil elite owned medias) Marassa only wanting to
apply same standard to Telemax.
Marassa see that according to "anonymous" the names, class, wealth and
colour of Telemax owners is no mattering. management transcending ownership.
But Marassa is positif that if Telemax belonged to someone who no was
sympathetic to ARistide and part of 184, par example, then Ownership would
be a very, very, big deal and they would be reminding us of class, colour,
and political leanings of owners every chance they getting. Now you seeing?
So Marassa wanting to thank "Anonymous" for trying to argue that owners of
media no necessarily affecting their coverage of events. But if new
management of Telemax was politically involved duvalieriste who gave
"unbiased coverage", would Esser, REeves, Pina and Fenton and Laurent be ok
with this? we think no. if manager a former supporter of FRAPH or military
how would they be treated?
for Marassa, telemax best station long before sold and new "god-like"
manager hired. question is why it was sold under pressures and to whom?
which is explaining new management and California connections....and lots of
amplifications on this list and elsewheres...think about it.
Marassa le juste trying to enlighten
