21764: Nlbo: National Convention on Haitian Families (fwd)
From: Nlbo@aol.com
Clergy, lay ministers, service providers, radio announcers, media, teachers
and others, please share this. A Catholic community is organizing this 22nd
national conference, but it's dialoguing on issues that affect Haitians
especially in the United States, such as immigration, families, domestic violence,
our involvement and participation in the civic society. Every year it occurs in
a different state or region, Philadelphia, Miami, New Jersey, Long Island.
Last year it was held in Boston. The speakers are great. Fr. Jomanas Eustache,
a young canon lawyer is very articulate in formulating the role of the
Haitian as a citizen in a society. It doesn't matter what your religious orientation
is or is not.
Their number is 718- 856-3323 and web site <www.snaa.org> email
