Also, especially in response to response #2, what do you think happens to
the self-esteem of people who cannot get a job and have to plead for
handouts?  Do they fare better than Americans facing that problem in the
Great Depression?  With unemployment rampant, crime is something about which
Gloria Steinem had something relevant to say:  "If you leave your car with
the keys in the ignition and the motor running, then you should not be
surprised to find it gone when you return."  Jobs, jobs, economy, jobs.  The
mantra for a successful Haiti.
