While it did not have the same American meaning (e.g., the FY expression),
nor the same causticity, Haitians always had the raised, extended middle finger

 salute as part of their arsenal. For added emphasis, it would often be
supported with a verbal "men ciga-w" or "ou pap sis."

At least in the Port-au-Prince of my childhood.
