 It is perfectly legal to own human bones in the U.S..  Many people from
 religions like Palo Mayombe and Vodou may bring human remains from other
 countries because it's cheaper or they don't know where to get remains
 legally in the U.S..  Here is one legal source for the sale of human

 I'm sure there are others.  There are also likely reasons of which I'm
 not aware that practitioners may want to bring bones from their natal
 countries.

 At any rate, I thought I'd pass this information along, in the hopes that
 it could be helpful to Vodouissants on this list or others they know.
