Unfortunately Manigat has no standing to teach haitians civics lessons.He  is
the first violator of the 1987 constitution,being "selected" by  the army in
a rigged  election .If one assumes that past  behavior is a prediction of
future behavior, the people of Haiti may  be thinking and rightly so that a
replay
of 1987 is in the works.
The current CEP is formed of so called  opposition  parties, the  current
transitional government was formed by a so called agreement by the same
group.This election shows that they don't have more than 25% of the backing of
the
electorate.Sadly no effort has ever been made to respect the will of the
people

in Haiti.Why would they expect it to be respected this time  around?
