28715: Leiderman: event: diaspora or disastera? (fwd)
From: leiderman@mindspring.com
dear Readers:
is it a coincidence, an irony or a distraction that tomorrow, while the Government of Haiti is convening an international donors' conference in Port-au-Prince, that Dumas Simeus is guest speaking for the U.S. Institute of Peace at a Diaspora meeting in Washington, D.C.? why isn't the Institute televising the donors' meeting instead?
"what a difference a day makes, twenty-four little hours..." Dinah Washington
thank you,
Stuart Leiderman
