As to getting to the provinces...there are those puddle jumper flights from the "other" airport, the one for domestic flights. You can go from the main airport to the commuter airport (by tax---1/4 mile)
and be on your way to....


The Cayes/Camp Perrin airport is the newest and most hospitable as airports go.

Jacmel's is a cowpasture/soccer field.  But it functions just fine.

Ofcourse, Cap Haitien is a semi-international airport. (aren't their flights direct from Ft. Lauderdale?)
