It is common knowledge that information is propagated in support of or in 
prelude to agendas: that report does not escape such reality, and its content 
isn't all that insightful to warrant excuses. It seems to validate the notion 
that outside interference produces desastrous results. Like it or not and 
regardless of one's indoctrination; it also indicates that 'corruption' isn't 
the only common denominator which links those countries. This realization makes 
it possible to seek greater accountability. In view of recent world events; the 
import/export of political systems/doctrines is something to be wary of. 
Adapting them to various societies can be quite an undertaking and difficult to 
manage. Too often; the subtleties are neglected, that is until some report is 
published (...)!


  ...The task is enormous and will demand tremendous efforts and perseverance 
from, both, within and without. It will require time to uproot such a pervasive 
practice. The entire system will have to be revised; starting with the 
electoral and judicial processes. Correcting those two will bring 
accountability, it's amazing how people stay in check when their jobs and 
freedom are in the balance. Make no mistake about it though, the 
beneficiaries/supporters/perpetrators are as many as they are powerful, they 
will fight against change of any type and by all means deemed necessary...

Historically, this is a people that overcame the greastest of evils as it 
defeated the fiercest of ennemies; so it is with confidence that the haitian 
people shall engage this cunning adversary. There will always be strength in 
numbers: "L'union fait la force"!
