The fourth annual "Women in Production" exposition was recently held
from May 5-7 in  Haiti.
This year, there were more than a hundred Haitian women entrepreneurs
who displayed products
  at the Karibe Convention Center in Petion Ville. The items on display
ranged from apparel, accessories,
  home decor, food stuffs, and a few services.

  What started four years ago as a "design fair" has  more or less
evolved into an expo--this year
  entitled "Creations Couleurs Saveurs Creoles"--designed to promote
women doing business in Haiti increasing
  visibility of their products while providing a marketplace.
