#4420: 52 Haitian American Deportees : Inghram comments
From: Glenn Inghram <email@example.com>
What responsibility does the U.S. government have to coddle Haitians
convicted of various crimes in this country? Deportees back to Haiti, or
to any other country, is merely the rightful return of those, who given the
opportunity to make for themselves a new life in a new country, have failed
to take personal responsibility for their actions. The real crime is U.S.
taxpayer support of non law abiding immigrants who would otherwise remain
in U.S. prisons. I see no relationship between Haitians convicted of
criminal offenses/deported and so-called "U.S. trained thugs" sent to Haiti
- two entirely different issues.
