A young professional woman neighbor here in the province of Quebec spent
six months last year as a human rights observer in Guatemala, and wants to
spend another year abroad as a human rights observer or in some other
capacity in a poor country. She is fluent in French and English (and
Spanish and Italian). Witness for Peace does not take Canadians as long
termers. If anyone knows of any opportunities in Haiti or elsewhere, please
