Seventh International Conference of Museums for Peace
The seventh and most recent International Conference of Museums for Peace was organised by the INMP in cooperation with the Barcelona International Peace Resource Center, at Monjuïc Castle, Barcelona, Spain. The conference was held from 4-7 May 2011 under the title The role of museums in the transformation of a culture of war and violence to a culture of peace and nonviolence.
The conference was attended by 57 participants (the location imposed a limit of 60) from 15 different countries. The limited number of seats made the conference into a very sociable and interactive event.
