Unfortunately, this latest incident with Ambassador Airlines is not new to
us.
I was also stranded at the Port-au-Prince airport when I flew to Haiti
from
Miami in December of 1997 with "AIR D'HAITI".

Though I had a paid airline ticket and a reservation, when I went to the
airport to check in on December 31 1997, there was no one there ot help,
the
flight was cancelled, no information about the airline was available.

I ended up spending another day in Haiti, and I purchased a one way ticket
to
Miami with American airlines. I was never reimbursed by Air D'Haiti, and
when I
attempted to contact them, their telephone number was disconnected.

Now people wonder why so many Haitians refuse to support Haitian airlines?

Wonder no more!
