Academie "Militaire" where haitian national police is
trained appears almost closed... Doors remain closed
almost all the time and it is difficult to see a
policeman in the area except for a few moment in the
morning when flag is raised.

RUMOURS circulate downtown and "confirmed" by one
police officer about the haitian governement buying
from brasil a military tank.

Several police officers show growing discontent being
transformed in chimeres auxiliary...
Those who refuse to participate in violent and
corrupted actions seek to be granted political asylum
or just disappear...

More and more cases of actions mixing
chimeres/thugs/robbers and police are reported, and
cars without any tag, or wrongfully placed police
tags, private cars with stained glasses, [stained
windows are officially allowed only for diplomats and
government officials], are now to be seen
everywhere...

It is reported the wife of Apollo Marcket owner,
kidnapped yesterday, was abducted by people
circulating in a police car. 4 weeks ago, Apolo
Marcket in Petion-Ville had been attacked and the
security guard shot 7 times. After this attack,
Petion-Ville police arrested several people in the
area, included young; at least one was jailed without
any charge and released only 21 days after, after
having been forced to pay more than 1000 H$ to the
police...

Jailing innocent, poor and defenseless person in order
to have money from them is not recent habit but seems
to increase seriously. Street children are totally
defenseless there.
