PRESS RELEASE – the 7th May 2004

UNION BROTHERS SINGERS is a group of singers who perform their music a
cappela. They started the group on May 3rd, 1997.  All the members are
cousins or brothers and they all come from the same area of Fermathe.
The group sings regularly within the Haitian community and also to
groups of visitors coming from abroad.  They sing English and Creole
songs. Most of the Creole songs have been written by members of the
group.  All the songs have a Christian message. They also choreograph
dance routines to some of their songs.

The aim of the group in producing this CD is to share their gifts of
music, song and dance with others.  All the monies which are raised by
the group will fund other musical projects as well as help the members
in the group to further their education or in their chosen professions.

THE UNION BROTHERS SINGERS will have the Vente Signature of their latest
CD at the Presse Café, 28 rue Rigaud Pétion-Ville, on Thursday 13th of
May from 5-7pm.

All Corbeteers and other interested friends are very welcome - spread
the word!!
