Obviously, Nat never received the news about how Aristide abandoned his
loyal henchmen and left with packed valises under dead of night, blaming
others, not protecting the security guard who finally sought sanctuary at
the Oloffson, truth finally dawning on them.  The courage Aristide displayed
as a priest in the parish of the poor was trumped by greed, power, money,
sex --- all those things he could do without until he realized the pleasure
in having them.  Yes, he was a courageous man who became a coward.
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, and he had plenty by
that time.
Enough of the argument ad hominem.  You are showing no respect to Simidor,
who lives in no such luxury as you describe.   Kathleen
