Coalition joins Families and Community Leaders in a Prayer Vigil for TPS


When:   December 22rd, 2006, 4:00pm

Where:   INS Building, 7880 Biscayne Blvd. Miami FL , 33138

While millions around the nation are celebrating X-Mas, hundreds of Haitian 
immigrants and their children are living in hiding in fear of deportation. 
Temporary Protected Status a relief that could be provided by the strike of a 
pen by President Bush has eluded them despite a 4 year struggle.   X-mas is a 
time of celebration, of sharing with loved ones, and of happiness, yet these 
families -- who have called Florida home for as long as 15 years -- face the 
wrenching choice of taking their U.S.-born children to Haiti, a country they've 
never known, or waiving them goodbye.



Let’s pray and remember these neglected families living in such horrendous 
peril at this time of great celebration!
