I have a hatian friend who says is taino/indian (he does not look
indian, but very haitian) sometimes disepars for several days or weeks
to join his indian ancestors, under the water, at some river.  next time
I will ask him if lasiren drives him there. Also, in dominican voudou
the loas of "indian division" (one of the 21 divisons) live under the
water.
